So, I've started another blog. I know, I know... as if one isn't enough to keep up with. ;) But the other blog is to keep track of my marathon training. I'll post every day, but it will really only be about my workouts. This blog will still be my family blog that talks about things that are really important.
So here is the link if you care to hear about my training.
In other news. I'm headed home for a few weeks. I'm excited to see my family and a few friends. It's been a year since I've been home, so it will be good to get back for a bit.
Things I'm looking forward to no the trip (in no particular order):
1. showing off my Texas tan to my sisters (who will envy the slightly more than opaque color of my legs)
2. Being on the farm
3. My ten-year class reunion (it really has been THAT long)
4. Seeing all my nieces and nephews and the rest of the family for that matter
5. Remembering what cool nights feel like
6. Seeing mountains
7. Watching my boys play with their cousins
8. Drinking the water on my parents' farm that comes fresh to us from our well
9. Seeing how I hold up in my running at higher altitudes
10. Playing in the grass with no fear of being attacked by fire ants (this one will be hard to get used to)

good luck running a marathon. that's cool. Maybe I am odd, but I've never had the desire to run a marathon. I wish I were going to Idaho too. We were spending some time at the river today, and it made me miss the Snake river.
