My baby is walking. I don't know how it happened. I'm pretty sure just a week ago he was a teeny tiny baby that slept 95% of the time. Now, all of a sudden, he turned into a little boy. I don't like it one bit. In fact, I'm going to put a stop to it right now!
I never really thought I would be this type of mom. With Jeff, I was so eager for every single milestone and was reading the book in advance to see what cool things he would be doing next. I just couldn't wait for him to be doing this or that.... but with Nate, it's totally different. While I really do enjoy seeing him do new things, I can't get over how fast it is all happening. I feel like time is a movie on super speed and I keep sleeping through the good parts. I just want to rewind and see him again in all his baby glory.
Just so you know what this boy is up to... he walks, throws EVERYTHING (with a pretty good arm, I might add), says lots of things including "ya", folds his arms, and also proudly flexes his muscles while making a grunting sound. I should really try and get that one on video, it's really cute.
I feel so blessed to have "baby Nate" in our lives. I guess we're going to have to work on a new name for him. I am amazed that I have been entrusted with two beautiful boys. There is much joy in motherhood.

I keep wondering how my baby girl has gotten so big...She is only 9 months and she can already reach and turn the handle to our front door...so the door stays bolted shut all the time...It's bitter sweet to have our babies grow up...i think that's why my mom kept having them.
Oh! Oh! His name can be... GREAT NATE! That's a pretty sweet boy name. We miss you guys and hope to see you within the next 5 years, because our lives are so crazy.
I know what you mean!! Luke's first year went by much faster than Annalee's! Can't wait to meet your cute boys!! (Sorry...I'm a little exclamation happy)
Sadie, as if we're not twins enough as it is...that's like straight out of my journal, for reals!!! Not only that, but we call Jacob "Baby Jake" :) How do you like that? We were kindred spirits, I can tell :)
How fun! I can't believe how fast your boys are growing either!
